Warm up -Teacher do “Brainstorming game” for the students (5 minutes) - Look - Listen - Play the game -Teacher divides class into groups Sun and Moon. - Each member of two groups will write one name of school object in turn - Teacher gives them 2 minutes to write. Who writes more words correctly and faster will be the winner II. Getting started Presentation (Vocabulary) - Write the title on the board “A special day’. Explain the meaning of ‘special’ - Ask students some questions about the special day: 1. - Tell me "A special day" in Vietnamese. 2. What is your special day? 3. Why is it special for you? 3.What makes you remember the most? -Teachers ask Students to look the picture and guess what the picture might show or what the conversation might be about: - What is Phong doing? - Who are Vy and Duy? -Why is it a special day for them? (Why are they so happy?) - Teacher plays the recording twice - Let the students read the dialogue and find the vocabulary in this dialogue.
