REVIEW 2 Lesson 2: Skills I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to: - Recycle the language in units 4 - 5 - 6 - Practice doing some exercises to consolidate and apply what they have learnt in those units. 1. Knowledge : 2. Skill : Improve Ss’ speaking skill 3. Attitude : 4. Abilities and qualities : solving problem, self-studying, copperation, writing correctly, hardworking… interactive loving country observing skill, reading skill develop Ss’ speaking skill, II. Teaching aids: - Text book, poster. III. Work arrangerment: - Pair work, individual work - Materials: Ss’ books, text books, tape & radio. - Method: T- WC, group work, individual work IV. Procedure. I/ OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, students can: 1. Knowledge: a. Grammar the past continuous and past simple tense b. Lexical items : Vocab: items related to the topic ‘ Folk Tales’ c. Pronunciation: -Clusters: 2. Skills: - Listening, Speaking, Reading,Writing and interactive skills 3. Attitude: - Cooperation, respect, having right and friendly attitudes with friends, teachers in the new school 4. Quality and competence: - Be confident and friendly with the new school environment - Develope listening, speaking skills and cooperative interaction II/ TEACHING AIDS (MATERIALS) 1.Teacher’s preparation: - Lesson plan, Pictures, posters ,textbook,CD-MP3(Computer-Multi projector/cassette/ “sách mềm”) and other materials 2. (P69) - Imagine a foreign tourist is coming to your country. - Make a notes of six tips about the social customs, use the given ideas as well as their own ones. - Ask Ss to do this activity individually 2b. Work in pairs.. (P69) -Ask Ss to work in pairs, taking turns to tell each other their tips. They may discuss to choose the most appropriate tips. 2a. Suggested ideas - Dress code: You should bring along warm clothes because it's very cold in winter. - Table manners: You have to invite adults before eating. - Things that might cause offence: You shouldn't travel during rush hours because you can be stuck in traffic jam. - Talking loudly in public: You shouldn't talk loudly in public. - ........
