Person A: Hi, do you have a minute to chat?

Person B: Sure, what's up?

Person A: I was just wondering, how do you think performers in a school show usually feel before and after a performance?

Person B: Hmm, I think before a performance they might feel nervous or anxious, but also excited. And after a performance, if it went well, they probably feel really proud and happy.

Person A: Yeah, I can imagine. Do you like speaking in public?

Person B: Not really, to be honest. I get really nervous and I worry that I'll mess up or forget what I want to say.

Person A: I feel the same way. It's tough to feel confident when you're in front of a lot of people.

Person B: Exactly. What about you, do you like speaking in public?

Person A: No, I don't really like it either. I prefer smaller groups where I feel more comfortable.
