HANOI MARATHON

The Hanoi Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is one of the most popular marathons in the country, attracting both local and international runners.

The marathon offers several categories including a full marathon (42.195 km), a half marathon (21.1 km), and a 10 km race. Participants can register online and pick up their race kits at designated locations prior to the race day.

The Hanoi Marathon route takes runners through the city's major landmarks such as Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House, and the Old Quarter. The route is flat, making it ideal for runners of all levels.

The first Hanoi Marathon was held in 2019 and it has since become an annual event. The marathon aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of the beauty of Hanoi to both locals and visitors.

In the 2022 edition of the Hanoi Marathon, over 10,000 runners from 67 countries participated. The event was held in October and the winners of the full marathon categories were awarded cash prizes.
