According to reports, 54% of adults in the United States drink an average of 3 cups of coffee every day. Some experts believe that drinking too much coffee every day is a bad habit and not good for your health. But recent studies show that drinking coffee can have positive benefits. So, is this bad habit actually good for you?

Research by the Harvard Medical School in the U.S. looked at the differences between people who drink coffee and people who don't. People who drink coffee often have cream and sugar in their drinks, which are not healthy. Drinking too much coffee can also cause some people to have headaches and stomachaches, and even cause sleeping problems.

However, the study shows that caffeine—a chemical in coffee—can help the brain function better, and improve your mood. Coffee also contains antioxidants. These help to fight several diseases.
